Ethiopian art exhibition opened in Sweden

Addis Ababa (ENA) – An art exhibition that depicted the tourist attractions and social and economic features of Ethiopia particularly the capital Addis Ababa opened in Lund City of Sweden, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In a press statement it sent to ENA the embassy said the exhibition displayed the paintings of Zekiros Tekilehaimanot, an Ethiopian artist, under the African Midsummer Art Exhibition.

Ethiopian Ambassador to Sweden Dina Mufti opened the exhibition.

Speaking at the occasion, the ambassador said the exhibition would further scale up the age-long historical relations of the two countries.

He expressed gratitude to the art gallery for displaying Ethiopian’s work of art for the first time.

Exhibition Organizer, Hans Tapper on his part said Ethiopia has many features and the exhibition is just a part of the immense.

Including Svalov City mayor and local officials were at the opening of the exhibition which would remain open for five weeks.
