Ethiopians in Seattle meet with Kinijit leaders

Wzt. Bertukan thanked Ethiopians in Seattle for giving her delegation a warm welcome. Dr Hailu Araya is now speaking. He said that he is amazed at the huge turn out for the town hall meeting today. There are about 1000 - 1100 Ethiopians in the meeting hall. Next to Washington DC, this is so far the largest gathering, thanks to the hard work of Attorney Shakespeare Feyissa and his team who are hosting the Kinijit leaders in Seattle. Abune Zena Markos of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Seattle has also played a major role by encouraging every one to go to the meeting and express appreciation for the sacrifices of the Kinijit leaders…

He urged Ethiopians in the Seattle area to reach out to all the residents of the city so that they can join them in the struggle for freedom and democracy in Ethiopia.
