		<description>Surely the court accepted the case to add its strength to support the existing decision.  It&#039;s not good when there is doubt, and the Supreme Court of India will remove that doubt.

A question that I still have after reading the article is: during the 8 years that the Supreme Court may take to decide this case, is Section 377 once again enforceable, or can people live as if it has been struck down?

Hopefully the government of India will lead the way and repeal Section 377 itself.  Almost 2/3 of the world&#039;s countries have no law against same-sex activities.  A great country like India should be part of this growing group.</description>
