Chunks Of Concrete Fall On Cars At Alpharetta Parking Deck
ALPHARETTA — Authorities in Alpharetta say chunks of concrete fell on cars at a parking deck at a medical facility Monday afternoon.
Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon said the collapse
happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at a five-story deck at 3400 Old Milton Parkway outside the Northside Alpharetta Medical Center. Gordon said there were no initial reports of injuries or fatalities.
11Alive photojournalist Richard Crabbe at the scene says that the collapse damaged only two cars, and that police were permitting the owners of other vehicles to go into the garage and remove them from the garage.
