Borena, (Negelle) -Construction of a hospital launched in Yabello Town, Borena Zone of Oromia State at the cost of 11 million birr is well in progress , town administration said.

Town administration representative, Jateni Sora told ENA that over 86 percent of the first phase of the construction work has so far been completed.

The hospital will have 50 beds and more than 180 rooms for medical, laboratory, delivery, reception, cafeteria and free HIV test services, among others, he added.

Construction of the hospital has created temporary jobs to more than 100 residents. The hospital is expected to employ over 120 citizens when it becomes fully operational, he said.
