Hossana (ENA) – Construction of 95 projects is underway in Hadiya Zone, South Ethiopia Peoples’ State at the cost of 33 million Birr , Zonal Finance and Economic Development Department said.

Development Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Work Process Coordinator with the Department, Tilahun Molla told ENA on Monday that the projects are in the areas of education, health and safe water provision, among others.

Seven of the projects being constructed in three woredas in collaboration with the government and NGOs have already become operational , he said.

Construction of a secondary school, seven primary schools and 12 health posts as well as upgrading of two health stations in Hossana town and in ten woredas is also well in progress, he said.
