Man Accused Of Robbing Toddler
WILMINGTON, Del. – Wilmington police have arrested a 23-year-old man who they say stole a 3-year-old’s purse.
Police say Walter Brown, of the 600 block of Homestead Road, faces robbery charges.
It happened at 7th Street Deli at 11:05 a.m. Monday.
Police say the girl was with her aunt when Brown grabbed the child’s purse and fled the scene.
The bag contained only a few dollars in change.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident at a nearby barber shop.
Brown is being held at Howard Young Prison for lack of $2,000 cash bail.
