Arba Minch (WIC) – The Arba Minch town condominium houses construction project office said it is constructing 1,015 condominium houses with over 83 million birr budget.

Town condominium project manager, Gezmu Kalbo told WIC that the office is currently constructing 1,015 condominium houses cost over 83 million birr in the Arba Minch town is well in progress.

He said that the constriction of 540 houses and 70 commercial centers have already been finalized while preparations are underway to transfer the facilities to the beneficiaries in the coming few months.

He also said the first phase construction on the remaining houses would be completed at the end of June.

The town administration is supporting the project by subsidizing the cost of the house through providing construction plots for free and supplying building materials with minimum cost, he said.

The establishment of the project created job for 18 contractors and 6,000 youths who are organized under 61 associations.
