Stuart Woman Accused Of Stealing Bacon From Work
Police said a woman who works at a Stuart restaurant tried to steal bacon from her employer.
Luann McKinnley, 52, was arrested Thursday on a theft charge after a co-worker at Perkins told the manager that she stuffed a 3-pound bag of bacon in her personal bag, police said. The bacon was valued at $11.16.
Police said they also found illegal drugs in her possession. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
McKinnley was being held at the Martin County Jail on $5,500 bond.
