You repeatedly call something bullshit by stating "research shows" Yet you do not cite one piece of research. That is what I call bullshit! "research shows" without the research means nothing!

Derren Brown has never claimed to use NLP, In fact he has never even mentioned it in any of his shows.

In his book Tricks Of The Mind, he talks about it a little bit saying everyones assumes he uses NLP when in fact he believes the whole thing to be largely hype and nonsense.

Studying his material though, he often does routines which involve things at the periphery of conscious awareness affecting our decision making processes. Wether these points are presentation refinements or the actual method is up for debate.

The NAS found a median accuracy of 87% for field polygraphs in event specific testing - far above coin flipping accuracy and much better than eyewitness identification accuracy rates. The NAS didn't really conduct a "study," and they made lots of assumptions (now known to be wrong), but they didn't like screening exams - just like the one Aldrich Ames took, but that's comparing apples to oranges.

Just because "homophobia" isn't listed as an actual fear doesn't mean it's not real. You claim that psychology is bull-shit, but then point to psychology when defending there really isn't such a thing of homophobia.

People do hate gay people. Members of Westboro Baptist church carry signs that proclaim not only their hate, but God's too.

Hate is a product of fear. People fear what they don't know or understand. Not knowing or understanding is a product of ignorance, and of course...ignorance is bliss.

So while you project there's no such thing, it is in fact real.

I do agree that not "all" homophobic people are secretly gay. But I know from real experience, some who used to spew anti-gay rhetoric in their teens and even into their twenties, have come out as gay.

As far as the gay porn studies, I believe sexuality is on a continuum. You have a small percentage to the far right, and a small percentage to the far left, which means everyone else falls somewhere in between.

The problem is society has forced us to acknowledge that different is wrong. Look at all cases. Those mentally challenged, those with skin of color, those who are gay, those who are "too" smart or those who are obese. People are creatures of the norm, and if you fall outside of the "majority" then you are going to be chastised for your perceived differences.

The one thing people fail to realize, no matter who you are, we are all part of the human race, and as long as we're not harming others with our actions, then live and let live is the key to your own personal happiness.

Letting things control you that you can't control is not conducive to loving, or even liking yourself. If you're going to make it you life's goal to "prove" that someone who is attracted to the same sex is "less than", then I firmly believe it's for some reason, you need to feel "more than".

You also need to look at the modern day gay debate from a financial standpoint. There are many who make a great living, and many times tax-exempt due to religious affiliation, from "homophobia".

Homophobia is a multi-million dollar industry in this country, and if everyone let people live as they were born, there would be many who would lose their high paying positions.
