Hawassa, (WIC) – The SNNP state finance and economy development bureau said it is undertaking various developments works with one billion birr support obtained from donors.

Bureau public relations department representative, Legesse Hailemariam told WIC that the support was obtained from several donor groups and international aid organizations. He said the development activities are focused on education, safe water, agriculture, capacity building, HIV/AIDS prevention and control works. He also said the development activities would have a great role to alleviate poverty, adding that integrated follow-up is being carried out to ensure the utilization of the aid and support earned from donors groups.
