Dire Dawa, (WIC) – The Haromaya University called on students of higher learning institutions to contribute their share for the going development efforts.
Speaking on a training “Campus Life,” organized in the university, social health department head and the HIV/AIDS project coordinator with the university, Lemesa Werjira said higher learning institutions have significant role in speeding up the country’s development.
According to him, the objective of the training was raising awareness of students on ways of protecting themselves from HIV/ADS pandemic.
Gender office deputy head with the university, Kidesna Sebsbie said on her part that the office is solving various problems students are facing during their stay in the university.
Some of the students commented that such trainings have significant role to develop students’ confidence and enable them shear good experiences.
