The Organizing Committee of Ethiopian National Transitional Council (ENTC) and its chapters around the world held their weekly meeting on Saturday, May 5, 2012, and selected the City of Dallas, Texas, to host the Council’s founding convention, which will start on July 1st.

Dallas is also the host city of Ethiopian Sports Federation North America (ESFNA) 2012 soccer tournament. Tens of thousands of Ethiopians are expected to attend the annual event.

Meanwhile, preparations for the transitional council founding convention continues around the world. Last week, chapters have been formed in Sweden, Germany and the U.K.

After endorsing the call for boycott of TPLF-owned businesses, the ENTC Organizing Committee’s Washington DC chapter has distributed flyers throughout the city during the past two weeks.
