Ethiopia: Automatic phone service introduced in Eden semi-urban center

Elabered — The inhabitants of Eden semi-urban center in Elabered sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the access they have got to 24-hour automatic telephone service.

Reports indicated that the local inhabitants used to obtain phone service only 8 hours a day through operator which was negatively affecting their daily activities. They further stressed the significance of the newly introduced automatic phone service in facilitating trading and social activities.

In another report, mobile phone service has already been introduced in different parts of Elabered sub-zone.
