Ethiopia: Potable water supply project being implemented in Dubarwa

Dubarwa — A significant potable water supply project is being implemented in Dubarwa town at an expenditure of about 50 million Nakfa through the collaboration of the Government and partners.

The project involves the construction of 2 ponds and 4 distribution stations, the digging of 10 wells and installation of 25 km-long water pipelines.

The head of technique department in the town, Eng. Asmerom Tesfai, recalled that a similar potable water supply project was implemented in 2006, and that the implementation of the new one would further strengthen the provision of reliable potable water to the residents.

The Administrator of the town, Ms. Leul Asrat, stressed the significance of implementing potable water supply project as the population of Dubarwa town is increasing.
