Ethiopia: Office licenses over 32 million Birr worth investment projects
Gujji Zone, (Negelle) – Some 32 investors with over 32 million Birr combined capital have received licenses to engage in various investment activities in Gujji Zone, Oromia State, zonal investment office said.
Office representative, Nebiyu Abera told ENA that the investors received the licenses during the past nine months to engage in hotel and tourism, construction, coffee pulping industry, education, crop development and animal husbandry sectors.
The representative said the investors have received over 160 hectares land in urban and rural parts of te zone.
Nebiyu said 13 of the investors have so far completed 50 per cent of construction of their projects.
More than 1,100 citizens are expected to get access to jobs when all the projects fully go operational, he said.
