Ethiopia: Chief says effort being intensified to scale up Ethio-Sudan relation

Semera – Chief of Tigray State Tsegay Berhe said effort is being deployed to further augment the economic, social and political ties between Ethiopia and Sudan.

A delegation led by the Chief has visited development activities carried out in Kessella and Gedarif provinces of Sudan .

The Chief said the people of the two countries benefit from agreements and cooperation between neighbouring regional states and zones .

He said the parties have reached an agreement to work together in trade, health, security and infrastructure sectors, among others.

The two parities have agreed to complete ongoing construction of road and bridge linking the two states until mid next Ethiopian year

The multifaceted cooperation and agreement of the two states has been growing from time to time, he said.
