Ethiopia: Administration urges civil servants to safeguard constitutional rights

Dire Dawa – The Dire Dawa city administration urged the civil servants to safeguard constitutional rights and prevent moves of anti peace forces in the town.

Speaking on a two day meeting that deliberated on religion equality, administration public relation and information bureau, Misrak Worku called on civil servants safeguard constitutional rights of religion and prevent anti peace elements in the town.

Ensuring religious equality as well as exposing the anti peace elements working to incite violence are responsibility of all citizens, he said.

Administration justice and security affairs bureau head, Ibrahim Yousuf also underlined that the town is home for followers of various religions.

Some of the participants commented that they would stand vigilant in exposing anti peace forces that work against religious equality.
