Asmara – In connection with the 18th anniversary of Eritrea’s Independence Day, an international conference under the theme “Democracy in Africa: Current Situation and Prospects ” would be held here in Asmara from May 21 to 23.

The conference organized jointly by the Research and Documentation Center and the Green Book would feature in-depth discussion and exchange of views on all-round issues related to democracy in Africa towards creating the groundwork for peace and development in Africa.
