Addis Ababa – The Ethiopian women journalists association said it has carried out encouraging activities in building capacity of members and other journalists.
The association here on Monday has launched a workshop to evaluate its performance and discuss on Charities and Civil Society Organizations (CSO) law.
According to Association director, Abebech Wolde, the association has sent a number of women journalists to foreign countries for training.
She said the association will further strengthen its activities to build the capacity of journalists.
Abebech said the association will evaluate its performance, prepare strategic plan for the coming 3 to 5 years and discuss on the CSO law during the three-day workshop
Members and journalists drawn from various government and private media institutions are taking part at the workshop.
The association has more than 200 members.
