Ethiopia: Office licenses over 379.7m Birr worth investment projects
Gondar – An over 379.7 million Birr investment projects have been licensed in Gondar town of Amhara State during the last nine months, the town’s service office said.
An expert with the Office , Lisanu Tamire told ENA that the projects are in the areas of hotel and tourism, construction, agriculture, trade and social services.
The investors received 89,700 sq. meters of land. The projects are expected to create jobs to over 5,500 citizens.
According to him, 396 investors are engaged in various investment sectors with an aggregate capital of 2.7 billion Birr in the last 15 years in the town.
