Ethiopia: May 28 marked in Nairobi, Kenya
Addis Ababa – Diplomats and employees of Ethiopian Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, celebrated the 18th anniversary of the victory of May 28.
According to a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent to ENA, Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Disasa Diribsa on the occasion said Ethiopia has registered rapid economic development during the past five consecutive years.
Ambassador Disasa said the government has given due attention to making the economic growth sustainable.
He said Ethiopia works together with neighbouring countries and the international community in the efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
The international community should take the necessary measures to prevent terrorism in Somalia, he said
Higher level Kenyan government officials, diplomatic community and Ethiopians residing in Kenya took part in the celebration.
