Ethiopia: Gottera Interchange inaugural Sunday
Addis Ababa – Gottera Interchange, a major road artery and hugely modern too, is inaugurated on Sunday, the Addis Ababa Roads Authority announces.
The multi-deck interchange trims down traffic entering into the city from a busy highway, which otherwise had been a major cause of congestion in the city of Addis Ababa.
The interchange is 8.1-km in total. Shanghai Construction built the road, whose cost is totally covered by the government of China.
It is the first of its kind both in the city and nationwide.
