Ethiopia: Share Co. earns 46.6 mln birr in nine months
Bahir Dar – The Bahir Dar Textile Share Company reportedly earned more than 46.6 million birr over the past nine months.
Company manager, Abay Melaku told WIC that the stated sum was earned from thread and finished clothes supplied to local and overseas markets.
He said the factory planned to earn more than 73 million birr in the reported period through supplying over 1.8 million kgs of thread and clothes, however, it secured the stated sum due to power interruption and old of machineries The company has finalized preparations to undertake an integrated improvement and expansion projects with 302 million birr so as to address the aforementioned problems, he indicated.
