Ethiopia: Construction of 3 mln. Birr worth building well in progress: ERCS
Bench Majji Zone – Construction of a building launched in Mizan Town, South Ethiopia Peoples’ State at a cost of over three million birr is well in progress, Bench Majji Zone branch office of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) said.
Office head, Fasil Shibiru told ENA that 33 per cent of the construction work of the building has so far been finalized.
The head said ERCS is constructing the building to strengthen humanitarian services and development activities in the areas.
Fasil said construction of the building is expected to be finalized in the coming Ethiopian year.
The Finnish Red Cross provided one million Birr support while the office and the public cover the balance for construction of the building.
