Ethiopia: Woreda gets 2 million birr worth secondary school
Gondar – A secondary school constructed in West Armachiho Woreda, North Gondar Zone of Amhara State at a cost of two million Birr was inaugurated on Sunday.
Woreda chief, Gebre Dagnew said the woreda administration allocated 1.4 million Birr while residents contributed 600,000 birr for construction of the school.
Gebre said the school has classrooms, laboratory and library, among others . It has capacity to enroll over 400 ninth and 10th grade students.
Head of woreda Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM) office, Mesfin Alemnew on his part said the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) has given prime attention to fulfill infrastructure development in the woreda.
