Ethiopia: Office to transfer 1,104 condos to beneficiaries
Jimma Town Addis Ababa – Some 1,104 condominium houses being constructed in Jimma Town, Oromia State at a cost of over 91 million Birr will be transferred to beneficiaries in the near future, town housing development project office said.
Office Manager, Kefyalew Ayana told ENA that construction of the condos will be fully finalized after a month.
The budget for construction of the condos launched in 1999 E.C. was secured in loan from the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
The manager said construction of 555 additional condos being carried out since 2000 E.C. at a cost of over 46 million Birr is expected to be completed after five months.
Preparations are underway to construct 1,000 condominium houses in the town over the coming Ethiopian budget year, Kefyalew said.
