Addis Ababa – The Ministry of Trade and Industry has announced revised tariffs on fuels effective Monday.

The ministry’s readjusted price list is for the month of June as it has been revising tariffs on fuel retail in line with current global price since several months ago when the government put an end to petroleum subsidy.

Accordingly, through the month, white naphta will sell for 7.49 Birr per liter at filling stations, ethanol-benzine blend at 8.96 Birr, kerosine at 6.07 Birr, light black naphta at 6.69 Birr, heavy black naphta at 6.15 Birr and super benzine (for aircraft) at 8.04 Birr.

The readjusted price list will appear in Monday’s issue of the daily Addis Zemen, the ministry told ENA on Sunday.

Fuel retail price had remained unchanged February through to early May.
