Ethiopia: Tied up
Mihiret Debebe, the CEO of the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo), is pictured here adujsting the tie of his friend, Christian Capitanio, Africa Area Manager of Salini Costruttori SPA, an Italian firm that is undertaking work on Gilgel Gibe II and III hydro power dams. The two were about to enter the workshop organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Water Resources and EEPCo for their Kenyan counterparts on the environmental impact of the Gibe III hydro power project.
The two partners are also on the verge of tying up their second project, Gilgel Gibe II, in the next couple of weeks.
