Riyadh – The National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia held its second congress on June 5.

Reports indicated that the Executive Committee of the Union presented detailed reports on the activities by the branch from 2002 to 2009 and members held extensive discussion on various issues. They also elected an executive committee that would serve for the next four years.

Members of the NUEW branch in Riyadh expressed their readiness to reinforce the activities of their association and enhance their input in all-round national development efforts in the Homeland.

Representatives of the NUEYS branch in Riyadh and the NUEW branch in Dammam delivered speeches at the congress.
