She is no quitter! She hasn't cut and run. She's facing down the tyrants from within. She is paying a heavy price but her sacrifice teaches others that you can indeed resist the tyrannical regime without the safety and comfort of Europe or America. It only satisfies one's ego to say you are fighting for freedom from the warmth and comfort of your living room or better still your cosy bedroom. Serkalem is to journalism as Bertukan may be to political opposition in Ethiopia. Just one outstanding example of the unsung heroes of our time. Brave indeed. She is no quitter! But let me say a word on what you said at last. In responding to the question "What can you do ?", you said, among others, "You have the choice to contribute labor and money to the organization that best fit your philosophy". The problem is that, if by "Organization" you mean a political party, there is no such an organization as of today. The so called Kinijit were and are nothing but fresh students in Politics.
