That is right. English is very difficult to master in a few years of learning it. I am for Esperanto. Some languages are very easy to learn. Take for example, Sudanese version of Arabic language, an Ethiopian farmer who had never been in school can speak it easily in a couple of years. Can the same farmer do the same with English? Hell, no.

Al,
i agree with you about how weyane is trying to create division and misunderstanding among us while we all head towards the same goal, like the people who were engaged in the building of the tower of babel. GOD, in his wisdom came up with an idea to stop the people from attaining their dream. even the almighty GOD, kind of concerned about their unity. he knew that nothing will stop them; they are determined to complete the job. and the lord said" indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them". (Genesis 11:6) here we see the power of unity in the full sense of the word. the whole nine yards. the almighty GOD is portrayed as if he was really scared, very ironic. well he came up with a plan to confuse their language. that was it . the end of the tower of babel. even though they were united to a common goal, their inability to speak the same language kept them from their success. people lets unite with purpose and let all of us speak the same language. let our words be one. lets build the tower of freedom upon a solid ethical and moral foundation. let us raise the bars of freedom as tall as the tower of babel.let the divine heavenly wisdom be up on us until humanity prevails in our beloved nation

I agree the your Tower of Babel comment.

In today's World. the language problem is still relevant and I believe that the World, now, needs a common, non-national, neutral language!

Why not teach such a language, in all countries, in all schools, worldwide?

The contest between English and Esperanto seems to be a David & Goliath situation. But don't forget who won in the end

If you have time, please see

Alemayehu G.Mariam,

you still think there will be democracy in WOYANE tribal junta? i don't think so. the only thing WOYANE understands is to be thrown out by force. armed struggle is what is left for us to do. you can not negotiate peace with out an army to strike with when peaceful mains is exhausted.
