Ethiopia today is in the hands of jungle cadres who have been practicing for the last 35 years how to lie, cheat and make dishonest, misleading and false arguments to look intellectual. This long practice of lies has made the ringleader of the jungle cadres shameless, arrogant, loquacious, garrulous and glib and pretend intellectual and know-all. However, speaking smart and being skillful in decieting the donors and the international community do not mean you can run a country. We need real intellectuals like Prof. Gebisa and people in MEDREK party to run the country. People in MEDREK are the real intellectuals and deserve to run the country to move Ethiopia forward. Ethiopia has been in the hands of smart talking lying mediocre cadres for too long and it is now time for the real intellectuals to take over. The choice is ours to pick between the do-nothing smart talking army of mediocre liars and seasoned real intellectuals like the ones in Medrek. Whether we like it or not we are supporting one or the other by our actions and/or inactions. I will support Medrek by my action rather than supporting the brutal terrorist TPLF by my inaction. Inaction or not supporting Medrek in effect means supporting terrorist TPLF to continue to terrorize the Ethiopian people and dismantle the country. There is no escaping from making one of the two choices and it is an ‘either … or…’ thing. Our actions or inactions favor one of the two sides (Medrek or terrorist TPLF) and let us think about it before it is too late and support Medrek. I do not mean Medrek is a perfect coalition but it is by far much much better than the TPLF terrorist group ruining and destroying our country, Ethiopia. We must not allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good. With the right support from us Medrek will make a difference and put Ethiopia on the right track.

Why are we even talking about election when we know the outcome? Isn’t Wayane trying for international legtimacy? They utterly failed in 2005, why to entairtain the Idea when we really know the truth. I do not remember south Africans deluded themselves to participate in an election with the Apartied regime? Is Ethiopia’s situation really any different?

Election ala weyane is the may 2000 GC (1992 EC) when weyane opened the final offensive against Ertra on Friday 12th May and conducted the election two days later on Sunday 14th May. This is what it called creating conducive environment to a fair and free election. Girer le’leba yamechal endibal….weyane agbesbeso serqo gello qemito awenabdo ya-5 amet ticket wesdo kutch ale. On the top of it 12 million compatriots were starving for ehil-weha.
I wouldn’t be surprised if weyane will do similar tactics again in order to stay in power.
