I think the result of the election is predetermined so the question of what to expect would be irrelevant. the saddest thing is the so called opposition party who are fully aware of woyanes strategy still fall in their trap. Hailu and the others keep disapointing the very people who demanded their release and who stood to support them during and after the 2005 election. the only good thing that came out of Hailu’s disgraced act, was the true uderstanding of Ethiopian people about their ememies.

I can’t get clear stand of the author. Is he try to tell us that the action takeen by Ato Hailu is correct and had an objective? Does it benefit the Ethiopian people? What is the gain from this for the party (MEAD), if the party straggle for free and fair election?

I think what is going to happen in the next election is that, err, emmm, oh sorry, what election? The winner is already decided. weyane won and hailu may be bribed by weyane putting him as puppet president or may be even vice prime minster with no power. It is like a dog with no teeth even with no tongue so that he can’t even bark. If any one believes e Meles / weyane will give up power through what you called election, i think you are wasting your time.

Meles & co are there for a mission, what they do now is part of the TPLF straggle started 29 or so years ago. They are now in power to complete their straggle. Part of the mission is destroy a country called Ethiopia, move power (financial, military, even emotional and psychological superiority to the north i.e. tegray. ) if succeeded leave the rest of the country in disarray and if the worst comes split tegray from Ethiopia and form a government, may be possibly claim back Asseb which is given as ‘ adera in Amharic’ to eriteria. Or even form a tigri-tigrigh state with eriteria which weyane has been elusioning for many tears.
Apart from this all the talk about election, human right, good governance etc is just a time buying mechanisms until the ‘job’ done. The financial part of the job is already done. Money is accumulated under the name of all major weyane names and another under the man called Alamode.
