To complement to you, Meles said, few years ago, we can increase by a significant (10%) amount farm production by eradicating the different animals that damage crops and viola starvation will be the thing of the past. His calculation failed for many years miserably. Meles, though he thinks he is intelligent, needs a lesson in mathematics and economics. Is your worry about 8.6m Ethiopians or Abeshas? Are you an ignorant or an arrogant? If the former is true as it seems so by infering from the beginnig of your article, you are excused. However, if the latter is true, you are still one century behind and you need to change modern spare parts for your brain. Ethiopia belongs to all Ethiopian; not only to Habeshas man!

The 8.6 million uncounted populations are the rich ones that are bleeding poor Ethiopian s. They are TPLF and its suporters are about 10% of the population. So that is how they have come up with this numbers.

please go to sleep. since mengistu days, all census in ethiopia is done with UN and AU assistance

so why would you trust outside guesses instead of real time counts by the census bureau?

another example, the CIA said muslims are 45% in 2005 but the CIA now says muslims are only 33%

so are you going to cry about that too???

by the way, the ethiopia census bureau said 73 million for 2007 counts and estimated 79 million for 2009 so it is possible that we are over 80 million for 2010
