November 26th, 2009 |  |  9 Comments

In our second meeting with President Isaias Afework last month, the other main topic of discussion was the current state of the Ethiopian opposition. … “Woyanne will collapse through evolution. Let’s revolutionize the process,” the president said. To that end, all the opposition groups need to come together and craft a “common political platform, which is lacking today.” He expressed his hope that such a common political agenda and an inclusive united front of Ethiopian opposition parties will be formed before the end of this year. … the full article will be posted shortly

    Thank You Elias

woyane and its army are like a building built on a sand. all it needs to fall is a little push. look what is going on in ogaden. woyane have not been able to defeat the ONLF despite its mighty military power and horrendous tactic that includes pillaging and burning villages, raping women and killing and incarcerating innocent civilians.

Woyane would not have ridden us like a helpless horse for so many miserable years had the OLF, EPPF, Ginbot, etc have cooperated for a clear agenda of equality, justice and democracy for the Ethiopian people.

  6. Eritreawi says:

In a vast, diverse and populous country like Ethiopia creating and sustaining a united front of all patriotic forces is not an easy undertaking, the process is well under way as we speak and it will require, hard work, patience and yes even sacrifice of its best and brightest. That is why every patriotic Ethiopian should participate in the creation of such a political entity in every way he/she can.

Many Ethiopians have a naive understanding of what it takes to build a trully free country that is in charge of its destiny, there will be hard obstacles as a result of internal resistance and external players who support such opportunists to the fullest of their ability.

Ethiopians in the diaspora can play a constructive role in this regard by organizing themselves and working with the Ethiopian patriots who are doing the actual fighting, there is a lot of know how and talent in the Ethiopian diaspora, when used to its fullest capacity it can help the people who are fighting the good fight in a big way.

  7. Gidey says:

Woyane is a disease that spreaded by gathering the scum of the earth in Ethiopia. I doubt Woyane will be defeated even if the woyane military is defeated. Unrepairable damages are being done by Woyane as we speak. Lands are being sold to foreigners , real estates everywhere in Ethiopia are owned by woyane , Selfishness is at it’s high and so on.

  8. Minale says:

    Gidey,

Don’t think that Woyane is a Sprit. They are just blood and flesh, their only trust is in their few Commanders who are in control of the Military. Eventhough the entire military stands for woyane it can not control the wrath of the Ethiopian people, which has been waiting for time and condition.

Woyane is ‘yalechid yetemerege biet’. A party built on lies and mischief. A part sustained by robbery and blood. It will collapse very soon. What it takes is OLF + G7 + EPPF.
