  1. Rado, says:

Perfect.Poetic.Exceptional in selection of words. And a tone of defiance and humility all in one.
    Superb and more than that!

As Elias brilliantly put it: ….Churchillian-like oratory,…defiant in the face of adversity, yet full of hope and promises of a better future.

  6. Mesfin says:

Well done. Ethiopia need democratisation for peace and prosperity. While that is the focus, CUD leadership also need to focus on the worst human rights violation in Oromia and Ogaden among others where regime militia is killing, torturing and detaining people on and hourly basis.

  9. Tsehai says:

She made me cry. I was so immotional. Why? I asked my self Why? Such a brilliant lady had to be thrown in jail not only that we don’t even know what’s going to happen to her when she goes back to Ethiopia. Dear Lord be with our sister, lead her to the right way. She is our hope, success and our Rose Parks. Thank you Elias

She is great and Kinijit will last for ever. the journey is long all Ethiopians will march together.

i am very proud of her and her team hoping any misunderstanding will be resolved under open discussion with in the two groups.

I like the old saying ” united we stand, divided we fall”

all words in our speech in any form comment shall glorify unity !!!
they shall be very careful not to darken our hope for democracy and free Ethiopia from Dictatorial rule.

Let Almighy God be with us.

  14. Kennini Wakjira says:

No single person has disputed this: What we will be is what we think. In her living speech, Brtukan spoke this way and delivered it directly into the hearts and minds of all Ethiopians. CUD is close to the hearts and minds of all Ethiopians.

She sid, “CUDKinijit is the undisputed way to see a democratic Ethiopia.” We agree.

Her imagination has been clear and as sparkling as our imagination, her thought is fluid and refreshing, her energy is a synargy to all Ethiopians, she is poetic and beautiful, She is priceless a gift from the people to the people. We are happy.

We will keep the gift and pass it on to the present and future generation; yes, we will.
