The Kinijit high-level delegation to the United States led by Wzt. Bertukan Mideksa and including Dr Hailu Araya, Ato Gizachew Shiferraw, Ato Brook Kebede and Dr Berhanu Nega visited five cities since Friday as they finalize their USA tour. On Saturday, Wzt. Bertukan, Ato Gizachew, and Dr Berhanu participated in a town hall meeting and fund raising event in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota known as the Twin Cities. Artist Abebe Belew conducted the fund raising event which brought in $25,000. The meeting was attended by about 600 people. On Sunday, Dr Hailu Araya and Ato Brook Kebede attended a public meeting in Denver, Colorado. About 150 Ethiopians who reside in the Denver Metro area took part the meeting and raised $14,200. Meanwhile, Dr Berhanu Nega went to Chicago to participate in a small town hall meeting. As in Denver, about 150 Ethiopians attended the Chicago meeting with Dr Berhanu and contributed $10,000 for Kinijit. At the same time, Wzt. Bertukan and Ato Gizachew held a similar public meeting in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We don’t know what happened there yet…

This is absolutely beautiful. No Ethiopian Organization has moved Ethiopians so much as Kinijit and its leaders have. This mass base is the biggest asset for kinijit, and our weapon to bring woyane dictatorship down. Woyane will fail mostly because it is a rejected party. No wonder woyane is afraid of fair and free election. Therefore, Ethiopians all over the world keep on supporting Kinijit and its leaders. Democracy is coming soon.

Eventhough their is some kind of (minor) difference b/n leaders of Kinijit the party still commands the full support of Ethiopians. The down fall of the ethnocentric fascist regime of Melese Zenawi is certain. We have to push hard to free Ethiopians from this brutal mercinary (TPLF) group.

Well done Kinijit!! The Ethiopian people’s prayer are with you. I am praying that by Sunday the missing member of your delegation to join you so that our joy will be complete. Who knows Kinijit is a miracle by itself and let the miracle of reconciliation fill the air around us. I can not wait till Sunday.

  15. Dore says:

It is nice to see the delegation move from one city to another and meeting Ethiopians. They are now winding their visit; it is time now to reflect on their visits. One of the important issues is to bring accord between the two supporter groups of Kinjit. Has that been accomplished? Did we end with more rift than it was before? I understand the Kinjit vice chairman denounced Kinjit.org. This is the only web page that writes about the Kinjit Chairman. Will this help to resolve the difference between the Kinjit supporters? Or this action is as a result of the meeting to resolve the issues of the supporter group? Does that mean Kinjit.com is the official web page of Kinjit?
There are now two North Kinjit support group. Did the delegation tell us which one we have to follow?
Kinjit will survive even with this bickering.

  16. Adebet says:

Meselu, Dr. Berhanu is the only hope for Ethiopia? I like the guy and I think he can help in the struggle, but he’s not the only one. There are many others equally capable. Kinijit maybe the only hope!
