Obang is amazing writer. He says more than we can all understand him. Yet, he inserts his punch lines methodically. Good speech, brother Obang. My favorite line was, "If we disowned those in our family with whom we did not agree with at some time, we would have no family left." Although I strongly oppose the brutal woyane repression, human right violations, and other crimes, I feel repulsed by some groups' expression of outrage at what woyane is doing. It is like a child molester being disturbed or disgusted by a rapist. As always, you said a lot for anyone willing to listen. Our problem is not just democracy. It is also seeking an Ethiopian identity in which all Ethiopians are represented and reflected. Then and only then we can build a sustainable unity. As I said from the beginning, I hope everybody understands what this brilliant man is trying to tell us.

I am not sure most of us understand Mr. Obang in depth. One thing we all agree about him is that he is an honest and a good man working tirelessly to change the face of Ethiopia together with us. We all know this.

But there is one thing we all seem to just gloss over it without giving empphasis. Mr. Obang's speeches and writings are always written from God's point of view. And this view is the perfect view. If a good number of us in the opposition adapt this view, always looking our situation from God's point of view, we would have achieved our unity a long time ago. And things would have been a lot easier for us in fighting evil such as the regime we have in Ethiopia who represents the devil. If we have seen from God's point of view, Kinijit would have been intact with no splitting and division. I remember the 11 pages letter Mr. Obang wrote to Ato Haily Showel. It was in vain. His letter fell on deaf ears.

I suggest we try Obang's approach. I have no doubt it will work a lot better than the one we are using now-our own understanding and interpretation of things that are usually trial and error and which are mostly flawed.

Thanks Mr. Obang. God bless you!

I have nothing but a great admiration and respect for Mr. Obang Metho the man who stood his grounds based on principle, love of his country and his people. He is a brave young man, well spoken, modest with a simple life style yet with a grander presence that could ignite the crowed. He is a man with a deep compassion for humanity and conviction to bring democratic governance for all.

Mr. Obang Metho-You Are A True Son of Ethiopia!
