I admire your commitment and boldness, while I have to stress also that you sometimes push hard issues you believe are right for whatever reasons, without providing conviencing evidence. Your argument that Shabia has learned from its past relations with Woyane and wants to maintain good relationship with Ethiopians and help Ethiopias to establish demoractic system is a case in point. There are no evidence to prove this point so far to say the least.
Regarding ‘Person of the Year’ you shoud not have came up with your finalized list of candidates, further dividing them into who are worst and who are best. It would have been much better if you leave that to the voters.

However the truth will always fluorish and pretty soon we will find our own path with or without kinijit, however the media should refrain from incorporating personal matters of the politicians in the struggle for democarcy.Sometimes we all forget that these politians need to eat in order to live and on top of that when we disclose information to the public, such information MUST BE well backed.

For example last week ,a good friend of mine who read Elias’s report on Hailu Shawul’s acquisition of government jobs in the Amhara region and so on …was telling me that ” Hailu Shawul is making in millions in the Amhara region”. Not only that , he also told me the exact figure he made . As always i went to read this on Ethiopianreview and he was right , that is how it was stated, and that was the understanding of most of the ethiopianreview community as i understood from the comments section.
1)Elias ,nowhere in your report you provide the infromation that the millions dollars that you reported were the project cost and not Hailu Shawuls profit. Note that in any part of the world , project informations are released in terms of $ amounts for the project cycle from feasibility studies to completion.
Now,Ethiopianreview may not have the knowledge to brake this down , but since this is going in the ears of the general public a second tought should have been given to it.

2)Second no where in your report you said what Shawul Consult does in the project. That would have helped the readers to use their common sense to estimate what portion of the project cost goes to Hailu Shawul. Again if this is not to the knowledge of Ethiopianreview , experts or people knowleageble with construction project experience should have been consulted, for the only reason that the $ amounts are mostly taken by the construction portion of the project and and not by the consulting portion which Shawul Consult does.

In conclusion please when you reveal information , make sure you are confident and crystal clear in order not to repeat the mistakes our politicians including Ato Hailu Shawul are making.

Prof Alemayehu G/mariam is man of the year and Hailu Shawel has harm Ethiopia more than anybody else this year. As to Meles there is nothing new this year…..He is a well defined enemy of Ethiopia and Ethiopiawinet.
