Press conference with Kinijit officials – today 1 PM

Captain Alemayehu Yeneneh, a former AEUP coordinator in Southern Ethiopia, will give a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at 2:00 PM, for EMF, Ethiopia Review and other media. After his release from Kality jail, he was banned by Abayneh Berhanu’s guards from entering Kinijit’s office for confronting Hailu Shawel & Co. with information about corruption. Cap. Alemayehu is writing a book on the rampant corruption inside the former AEUP, particularly on the part of those close to Hailu Shawel and Abayneh Berhanu.     ELIAS CORRECTION: When you address somebody as Captain
    in Ethiopia it will mean either a cptain in the Navy or a
    Captain in the Air Lines. The proper addressing is Shambel.
