I am not happy with the following Teffferi’s comment:–
“The best option for the two groups would be to go their separate way as their time to work together has come and passed, never to meet again. Two generations are at a crossroad; one hanging to the old, feudal way of doing things and the other trying to midwife a new way of doing things”.

I believe, there is always room to work together, and two generations are not at a cross road, only ideas of some is different than of the others. and the conclusion is not to my expectation. sorry.

Avoid woyane type politics. Just focus on the dictatorial leadrship of Hailu Shawel. It is his fuedal type leadership that we are opposing. Not his ethnic background. We don’t care about his wife’s feudal Amhara back ground from the North. She will not get it back anyway. This is not a war between the Gurage Dr.Birhanu and Hailu shwels Amara fmaily. It is a fight between dictatorship and democracy.

A wise follow up of the events and a reflection that is based on the facts that are the sources of the damages. It must be said that the acts und measures of Ato Hailu Shawol are of a reflection of hatred and fear. Ways and means that serve him to undermine those he sees as opponent are right for him. He cultivates dictatorial manners that dwell with him. He hurts all those who fought and died for Unity, Justice and Democracy in Ethiopia. These acts must be politically counteracted in a persistence determination. The Reflection given by Ato Tefferi Mengistie will promote common understanding of CUD-Supporters and strengthen the struggle.

Enough for Hailu Shawel and more research for a new leader!

For the last few months and days, we have heard more damaging stories about Hailu Shawel from all political parties. It is now time for all of us to search for a new leader who believes in the principles of democracy and the rule of law. There is a cacoethes in the minds of us for removing Hailu Shawel from his position as the president of Kinijit and replacing him by another person who is more motivated, dedicated, unselfish, and indifferent to ethnicity. We have already detected the malaise in Kinjit, and that malaise is of course Hailu Shawel. It is time for us now to irradiate this undetected pain before it becomes more subcutaneously harmful to Kinijit. If all of us think viscerally instead of intellectually when we nominate a new president for our political organization, then we are repeating the same mistake as those people did when they allowed Hailu Shawel to lead Kinijit to such a titanic crisis. Hailu Shawel, an intransigent old man, is not going to resign voluntarily; we have to find ways and means to remove him from Kinijit without a physical force as we are a democratic organization. One of these ways and means is to send him shimagle who is able to convince him that he is not only an old man but also a sick man who needs time to rest from running political organization such as Kinijit whose political objective is to democratize the entire regions of Ethiopia as quickly as possible. To do so, Kinjit needs well educated, unselfish, and courageous young Ethiopians as well as senior Ethiopians for their advices and careful evaluations of Kinijit.

Symply elequent and to the point. Thank you. Hailu Shaul is a greedy, selfish and arrogant person who must be a subject of outrage. I suggest he be pillated with rotten eggs and tomatto anytime he faces the public. He should see that we hate lie and deciet and greed that goes byond the social good. He failed us.
