God bless Burtukan. She must take care, and take distance from like siye’s group. I don’t understand how ethiomedia is hijacked by siye’s group and become a propaganda web for this criminal.

Energetic, young and smart Ethiopians like Bertukan are the best and brightest hope we have as Ethiopians. The CUDP executive committee has been working tirelessly, day and night, even though they are being harassed day in day out by the killer regime and even a handful of their former colleagues. Elias and Fekade: thanks for organizing Yesterday’s press conference.

    Roba Osman:
If there are Ethiopians who voted for Issayas Afeworki, as ER’s man of the year, I don’t see why Siye Abrha can’t rehabilitate himself and join pro Ethiopian democratic forces to oust TPLF that he helped create in the first place. I know that some of us think it is very farfetched and wishful thinking, but if Siye was to help out in any way or form in the downfall of the TPLF, I say that will be poetic justice. Besides, this is hardball politics and not Sunday school and we all know, that there are always shifting alliances in politics.

Some have been declaring the death of Kinijit. In dekialula, I remember reading an article from someone who lives in Chicago called Mesgebe, that Kinijit is “broken without repair:” Just recently the AIGA forum editor referred Kinijit as “good for nothing”.

Well, unlike the TPLF leadership who is a mafia group that is controlled by families and worked in a very clandestine manner, hijacking the true cause of the TPLF true ethiopian fighters, the CUD has been an open, transparent and democratic organization. The media like ER, grass root Kinijit Supporters have made leaders of Kinijit accountable. One may refer the meeting of the rejected former leader of Kinijit. This did not happen by force; it happened by the rejection and opposition of the people.

The CUD has shown itself to be a mature, broad based and organized movement. The only strong and well-connected ethiopian group in the diaspora is the one that support Kinijit. In Ethiopia, locals have organized themselves, in their own initiatives, to promote values of KINIJIT. As is listed in this zikkir report, all over the south Kinijit meetings are being held.

The People is on the side of KINIJIT. The TPLF is loosing ground. The TPLF policy is to rule by force. They have no confidence in themselves. They are allergic to peace and reconciliation. So anyone who talks about reconciliation is their enemey for they loose a lot in a stable, democratic and united Ethiopia. That is why they are going after their old comrades and started campaign of misinforations against Tigray Arena and people like Ato Siye. Their dictatorial throne is being pulled away from different direction.

They better realize and accept the will of the people as soon as possible.
