After all whether we like it or not the man is a leader of well respected country in this world and according to our culture this has no acceptance. I understand the freedom of press that we enjoy here in the USA but please let’s not take it this far to embarrass the Diaspora and specially the Ethiopian people.

  17. Mekonnen says:

I agree with Matti, “he looks a lot better in this out fit”.

This man came out from the jungle as a “shifta” and become a mass murderer and a looter of Ethiopia. And I heard from a very reliable sources (this is absolutely a true statement) that he is a heavy drinker and once he got drunk acts like a mad dog.

He lives in our palace in Addis as a squatter. And he is counting the days of his eviction.

    Weird and ridiclous creature!!!

Since Meles Ziawiawi has multiple personality, no one knows what he thinks, what he does, and what he looks like. May be he might consider explore something new and different.

The problem with Meles Naziawi is that nthing looks good on him.

This pic says a lot about how we look at Meles Zenawi. We look at Meles with the utmost disgust just the same way any decent person would react to such illustration. And it is funny as hell. it reminds me how low life Meles is.

  25. Assta B. Gettu says:

    Is Meles too an iconoclast?

To see the so called Prime Minister of Woyanne in such an embarrassing fashion is a breakthrough from the Ethiopian old and noble tradition of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. These three great Ethiopian religions, the maxims of our daily behaviors, clearly detest and abhor Meles’ bold desecration of human body by shamelessly exposing it to the world unceremoniously.

Probably, Meles may never have such a super show without the blessing of His Holiness Abune Paulos with the objection of Abune Merkorios in exile. Abune Merkorios may try to anatamatize Meles and prohibit him from receiving the holy sacraments because Meles has defiled and ridiculed himself by overlooking the scripture that says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you whom you have received from God? (1Corinthians 6:19) By looking at his body, we do not know how many women may have emailed him, admiring his body-set up. The Ethiopian people in general have no voice to oppose or to approve what Meles does openly or behind closed doors. So when they see Meles’ partially necked body on the Internet, they get stunned and say nothing to one another. The good thing though is that most Ethiopians do not have Internet; they are too poor to afford such a wonderful communication system. Therefore, many of them will be unable to see Meles’ half-necked body, but they will understand what is going on at Meles’ palace through hearsay if not through the Internet.

The good side of Meles’ nakedness is that he is telling to the Ethiopian people that he does not have a mystical body like that of Emperor Haile Selassie whom the Rastafarians believe that he is divine. He is telling them that they should not fear him because he is mortal as they are, but would they really believe him?
On the other side, what do some of us the Kinijit people say about melees’ shocking Internet drama? I think he is doing this show for political and financial reasons. Politically, he is exhibiting himself to the world that he is funny and humorous, because the world loves funny and humorous people. For example, on August 23, 2007, Mike Eckel, Associated Press, reported: “Russian President Vladimir Putin went shirtless for the cameras in Siberia last week.” Mike continues to say: “…the photos were meant to enhance Putin personal appeal to voters….” So, may be, Meles is thinking about the coming election; therefore, he wants to advertise his photo of his necked body to the Ethiopian people to vote for him for the second time. We remember Bill Clinton, playing saxophone in front of a big audience to attract voters. In the same way, Meles is doing something new to get the attentions of the Ethiopian people. Financially, Meles may stash away millions of dollars from selling his bikini photo to the world; in fact, he may be able to sell it to the Holly Wood where he could collect even billions of dollars. It is a biblical fact: “For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.” (Matthew 25:29)

  26. Gonderew says:

pic is funny eventhough the photo editing work is too average. More than that, we should not make fun of ourselves. Whether we like it or not this good for nothing is leading our country and we expose ourselves to the mockery and ridicule of our foreign enemies by showing them this.

    Dear Gonderew,

We don’t really have that much foreign enemy. What we have is “home-grown” enemy, such as Hailu Shawel.
