M. Girma Kassa is right. Total civil disobedience is what is required and we have to unite to make it happen without delay.

The Woyanne regime has gotten a clear message from the ordinary people who surrounded the building to protect the Kinijit workers from being arrested or killed by Woyanne gun men. It reminds me something in the Bible about Jesus: “They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet” (Matthew 21:46). Even though Kinijit workers may not have reached yet to the status of prophets, I am glad the Woyanne gun men left the building because, I’m sure, they were afraid of the people that surrounded the building. Let Zenawi know that the people of Ethiopia are behind Kinjit, and there is nothing he can do about the strong determinations of the common citizens of Ethiopia. Very soon, the Ethiopian people are going to surround Meles Zenawi’s grand palace, drag him out, put him in a small car, and drive him away to an unknown location.

This is what we call civil disobedience campaign. If the people are empowered , organized ...no-one will stand against them. CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE, worked and is working indeed.

What we need to do is continue a similar effort to organize
Ethiopians all over the place, including Tigray. (Already in Tigray the TPLF has started its usual politics of intimidation against its opponents.)

I believe as we come together, and have clear and achievable objectives, we can bring peace, stability and democracy in Ethiopia. Let us trust the people and let us empower it. Let us help our people believe in itself and have confidence in itself. Let us help them be bold and courageous. Let us help them get rid of their fear and despair.

On top of empowering the people, let us work to form an alliance of all opposition groups that work for the same objectives and similar strategies to achieve those objectives - A Alliance , Freedom, Democracy and Unity in Ethiopia . (AFDUE). This Alliance shall be an alliance that focus solely on a struggle that does not involve the killing of another fellow Ethiopian.

Below is a latest article I wrote that may help us analyze how to peacefully deal with dictators.
