  1. Bwendimu says:

The problem is not name alone but its political program too. The old name may have been allocated to some one with the old political program. We love to see change of heart on issues like ethnic federation. They must try to integrate with kilil 3 politics and think like Gondores or Amharas. Planning to interfere with other ethnic internal affairs may lead to some sort of disagreement that is what we do not like to see.

Go away with your ethnic propaganda. This is not the right place for that.

We don’t have any problems with the name. The meat is in the objectives of the party. I know Brtukan and her colleagues will remain true to the noble objectives we fought for.

  3. Dagne says:

    Bewendimu,

Try to understand that Kinjit’s political movement is not based on the Amharic speaking provinces of Gonder Wollo Gojam. It is a powefull Ethopian movement that have embraced millions of Ethiopians from East (Afar) Adama-Nazret to West (Jimma, Gamgofa, Illubabor-Gore, wollega-Gimbi to Gambella) south to Awassa, Shahemene, Sidamo, center to Gurage, Hadeya kembata etc in Showa. The people of Ethiopia from all over the country (including from Tigray) have voted for “kinjit” in the 2005 election. Inother words they have told woyane that they don’t like ethnic politics. But the woyanes never get it. They don’t listen to what the people say anyway.

Kinjit’s name may now be changed due to difficult circumstances created by the government. It doesn’t mean much as long as they manage to get the support of the people. If it was not for the “denkoro” Hailu Shawel and his new EPRP advisors, things could have been different by now.

  4. Assta B. Gettu says:

When the Israeli teachers demanded the Ethiopian Jewish students to change their names, these teachers were clear that the Ethiopian Jewish students should change their Ethiopian names to Jewish names, but what name do the Woyanne politicians want Kinijit’s name to change to, to Amharic name, to Oromo name, to Tigrigna name, or to any other name?

  5. Kalubicha Zerbkud says:

The name and the grogram come from the voice of the millions Ethiopians. True leaders are always born in the voice of the people; when leaders of such sort born, they are born to be leaders not made to be leaders.

The 2005 election victory was achieved over the woyanaetplf chiefly because Ethiopians in millions fought for democracy against the tplfwoyanae undemocratic regime that has millions of guns and bullets.

The fact is, millions of guns and bullets don’t bring democracy, rather kill people. The voice of the millions of Ethiopians is not only heard across the nations, it is also heard accross the global community mainly because it is a continious change-oriented and change-bringing flexible message of hope, unity, and progress.

No matter how the crimefamily attempts to curb the voice of the millions to avoid another defeat by the people of Ethiopia, it is inevitable that Ethiopians and their determined leaders will stand together on the podium in victory. Mrak our voice.

BWENDIMU, go to hellwith your ethnice fedralism. WEyanes have used such types of structuring ethiopia to loot the wealthy of millions of ethiopians. Kinijit is being elected by millions of ethiopians based of it’s program , not by it name or because it’s leader was arrogant hailu who has been living with fesalism mentality even after the collapsing of fedal’s system.
