There has been a deadly explosion in a bus on the disputed border between Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Ethiopian [Woyanne] officials said at least seven people were killed and 10 wounded when the bus exploded in the Ethiopian-controlled town of Humera.
They said they believed an explosive device had been attached to the bus.
The blast happened just before the United Nations Security Council met to discuss the future of the UN force stationed in the disputed border zone.
The UN peacekeepers were sent eight years ago to monitor a border security zone, after the war which killed tens of thousands of people between Eritrea and Ethiopia in the late 1990s.
The explosion took place on a crowded bus just as it was leaving the bus station at Humera at the western end of the Ethiopia-Eritrea border.

Eight people have been killed in an explosion Thursday in northwestern Ethiopia, government officials said, and Ethiopia [Woyanne officials] said rival Eritrea was responsible.
Eritrean Information Minister Ali Abdu told The Associated Press dismissed Ethiopia's accusation as: "total rubbish."
Tigray State Vice President Abadi Zemo said a bomb attached to a bus exploded in Humera, about 370 miles northwest of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. Humera is in Tigray State and borders Sudan.

Be aware people of Ethiopia and people of Eritrea! Whoever attached the explosive device to the civilian bus to kill innocent passengers has a plan in his/her mind to ignite the fire – the border war between Ethiopia and Eritrea.

The Humera and Welkait speak Tigrinya and they are Ethiopians.

This is not the type of discussion we intend to make. The last 30 + years have given us a chance to see every aspect of life as we passed through different difficult stages. now is the time for all of us to wake up with maturity and make practical move. war is not the option as had never been. let us try to work together for peace, democracy and prosperity. the attack on civilians needs to be condemned. who ever does it, crime is committed.
i don't see anyone making profit out of this type of act.
we have other hot and important issues to be addressed.let us not be victims for those who do not like to see us united.

The bus was property of the "Weyane" organazation and it was full of WOYANE cadres. The bus was heading to "Shire" for TPLF meeting. Call the residents of that area and they will explain the feeling of the people.

Who was behind all explosives in addis ababa after may election? OF cource weyane was behind all explosives against ethiopia's national bank and other places in A.A to terrorize ethiopians in their own city. Meles and his stooges had fooled the Ethiopian and Eritrean people for some times now but no more. All the development and democracy hoopla were nothing but fabricated stories. The only development that took place in Ethiopia for that past 18 years are, A-Meles stomach got fatter, his got bolder, his behind got fatter; and B- his wife face looked marble, her behind got bigger; C- Bereket stomach looks its holding the 193 that were slaughtered during the last election, last but not least Seyoum Mesfin got bolder from his head to his stomach!

It has all the hallmark of Weyn! Remmember all the explosions in Addis which were blamed on the opposition and Shaebya? It is the same Bull at different day. On unrelated issue I have to agree with Elias though in the fact that we in the Diaspora just know to talk, but no action of any susbstance. It may well be that the pen may be mightier than the sword, but, in the final analysis, it is action that changes things – not just finger pointing at the Weyanes. I am sorry, but, Weyane is sitting pretty by thrushing any and every opposing force including floundering with all legal ramifications. If you were Meles, would you care to respect the rule of law when you got the support of the "international community" [US] every time you do whatever damnest your heart desires to? Think about it.
