ADDIS ABABA — About 10,000 copies of a non-political monthly magazine, Enku, has been impounded by the police and its publisher and deputy editor, Alemayehu Mahtemework, imprisoned.
The magazine was impounded last night just before it was set to hit the market early today, Saturday.
Along with the publisher, three other persons in no way connected to the Magazine but who were in the van carrying the magazine out of the printing press were also imprisoned.
The magazine’s cover story is about the imprisonment of Ethiopia’s pop icon and critic of the government, Tewdros Kasahun, which is stirring political passions in the country.
The imprisoned are due to appear before court on Tuesday.

I don't really know what this weyanne goverment wants from this poor people. It is acting up like a mad dog. Any one who against to them has to go to prison. First of all melese has not any ground to arrest tedy which i see him an ethiopian hero who used his talents and skills to spread a hope of freedom that blocked by these morans that thinks every thing is my way. They can't stand the truth and any one who try to expose the true nature of this gang gets harasse and intemidate by the weyanne cadres. It looks their time is up and the ethiopian people are saying enough is enough and weyannes are going to in the hole that they digged so deep.
Long live for Tedy and Ethiopians!

Can you please help me understand what exactly the following statment from Walta Disinformation Center means?
"Addis Ababa, May 2 (WIC) - The country has reached at a historical moment that proved the significance of the agricultural sector given due attention by the government to the other economic sectors too, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development underlined."
Thanks,
Geremew Abesha.

Geremew, what Weyanne's walta web site is saying is blah, blah, blah…. No solutions for the food shortage that the whole county is facing right now. They don't have any facts and reasons to backs up why suddenly there is a food shortage in the country so to confuse people and to cover up their crime that committed by them in those innocent people and they call it that is a report, which i call it a blank statement. If you say blah blah, no body asks you any questions because there is no questions to ask.
Freedom for the opperssed people!

i think woyane is mature enough in ethiopian politics to know what it means to be worried about a political legacy. That might probably be the only way that woyane look into itself and ask himself the big question what is next. after everything said and done there will come a time to be on the recieving end of a political game aparthied has seen it , colonialism has seen it, all dictators around the world has seen it.if woyane is not punished by its adversaries when it gets to the recieving end, he would not have a legacy that he will be proud of other than coercion through legal and illegal means.
people talk about woyane doing that and doing this.thats good but freedom is more than anything else. give me my freedom and let me decide on my fate, let me say whatever comes to my mind, let my concious be the judge on how i say it. don't punish me for expressing my opinion.teddy can be silenced for now but the people of ethiopia will never forget and forgive you. teddy will always be in our hearts because he is among our bests who stood against dictatorships through out history. i call him the ethiopian version of bob marley.
best of luck woyane

Guys, little minds always do little things. Woyane is a gang of little minds. They know nothing but bite like mad dogs on the streets. They are getting very desperate because they feel their days are getting squeezed…

What a shame!
It is better to be a ANBESA for one day
than to be WSHA for 1000 days.

Let him to stay there for at least 6 months. He may come up with a new way of singing, let say "Maremiya betay"!
Cheers
