Ethiopians in Washington DC oppose secret border agreement

June 2nd, 2008 |  |  6 Comments

Ethiopians in the Washington DC Metro area held protest rallied today in front of the Sudanese Embassy and Woyanne-occupied Ethiopian Embassy to express their opposition to the secret border re-demarcation agreement between Meles Zenawi and and al-Beshir. The secret agreement gave tens of thousands of square kilometers of Ethiopian land to Sudan, in return for Sudan allowing access for a railway from the Tigray region to Port Sudan. The protest rallies were organized by Ethiopia and Sudan Border Issues Committee, in collaboration with other Ethiopian groups.

Bravo!!!! Ethiopia and Sudan Border Issues Committee, in collaboration and other Ethiopian groups. You guys showed a wonderful step in defending our people. Again, bravo dc area. We need actions from everywhere since our people need more actions than talks. We will continue opposing the weyane juntas everywhere in diaspora so that our people inside ethiopia would get motivated to oppose weyane. This lead the end of weyane era…lets keep united around our area and do our own individual tasks practically from inside to outside to end the weyane era. United We Win!!!!

Where are all those woyane cadrees who bragged that they will personally defend the border even for one inch of land giveaway. The sad truth is members of a fascistic organization like EPDRF and TPLF are blinded by party propoganda and deceit. They are like parrots repeating what ever their culted leaders pronounce and are not allowed to think and decide for themselves. They are like a flock of sheep led to its own slaughter.

The good thing about fascism is, its like a mad dog. It will even bite its own. By the time the flock realized that, it will be too late for them.

The journey of our people towards a unified action is on the move; it is the journey of love manifested by opposing Woyanie’s policy of dismembering, giving away what is inherently ours. This fight is against the power of hate, inconsideration, and hostility the government has time and again shown to its own people. We shall stand up in support of the indigenous people’s fight to claim their territory and unity.

Eat your heart out. Gondar is not your mama’s fool.If there is a problem wth regard to our border we will amicably sort it out with EPRDF not with those who crave for power at the expense of Gondaries. Can you at least give us a brake for two deacdes to focus on Gondar’s development?
