What a sad story. I really don’t know what else we are waiting for? All the people whom we relied on to bring democratic change to our country are being scattered by the oppressive political climate in the country.

Let us now stop making unnecessary talks and take concrete action, those of us who can join the arms struggle should do so the rest could contribute in cash or in kind. Woyane is now urinating on our heads!!! The time is rife now!

My friends, don’t despair. It is going to take a lot of ups and downs before peace, democracy and stability comes to that unlucky country. More will die. More will suffer. At the end, however, we will be free. Eyoel gave it all. Even if he stayed on, chances are he wouldn’t bring the desired result in that country. Dictatorships don’t fall by peaceful means.
Ethiopians have to fight this evil in a way it will be effective. Forming a political organization and sitting in a fake parliament is not going to do it.

The solution is to join Ginbot7 and bleed Weyane.

Though I respect Eyoel’s decision, I do not think quitting is the best way to force Woyanne stop humilating our country in front of the World. Eyoel has handed the torch to the next man in line and it is our turn to pick it up. Let us come together and bring Woyanne down! It unity that makes the difference!

I think a nation gets the kind of leadership that it deserves. Ethiopians have for too long ignored the enormous sacrafices that a few individuals have made to lay the foundation for democracy & development in this deeply troubled country of ours. In fact, even at the height of the 2005 election crisis, it was only the hopeless poor that came out and protested as they had nothing to fear. Thsi nation is simply not ready for change and TPLF could reign for many years to come.

Mr Muluneh Eyoel has suffered so much under TPLF tyranny. Despite his personal decission to quit from being part of UDJ, he will be remembered as a strong young man who challenged Woyane at the crucial historical moment in Ethiopia.

This is a very sad news, but I respect Mr. Muluneh’s decission.

Is it just me or do you guys feel, as I do, the Weyanes can do whatever they wanted to trounce the Ethiopians? I mean is anybody doing anything about it? Are we going to be just wishful thinkers? Can we all prioritize our needs? Like Elias said on that TV show the other day, are we going to quibble about none issues are we going to work for the overthrow of these mercenary killers? Yes, it is easy to blame everything on Shaebia, but Shaebia is the only organization, to my knowledge, that has been consistent with its willing to work with the Ethiopian people and their respective armed opposition groups. But, while Shaebia’s moves are something to be appreciated, it is up to all of us to take the initiative and to follow it through with some zeal and determination to help establish a sensible power structure in Ethiopia which is accountable to no one but the Ethiopian people!
